The proprietor of the Saravana Bhavan Hotel chain, an immensely popular chain of restaurants all over the country and a few countries abroad as well known for its quality and variety of food items, had been admitted to a private hospital after a prolonged illness and treatment, could not recover and passed away.
Saravana Bhavan Rajagopal, famously known as ‘Annachi’, was a person who rose from the base of the society to be prosperous and thus was a self-made man with his tireless work and hotel/food items management! His chain of hotels is immensely popular. In fact, he wrote his biography as a serial published in a popular Tamil biweekly magazine and the book also proved to be hugely popular and widely read and was later published as a book with several editions!
