Prospects of 2 new districts in Tamil Nadu being announced today

Information is gathered that there are prospects of 2 new districts, Thenkasi and chengalpet in Tamil Nadu to be announced by the Chie Minister today (Thursday, 18th July).
It is learnt that as per the long-time appeal of the Thenkasi citizens to make it a new district, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister may announce under an announcement from the State Government Department of Revenue regarding the separation of Themkasi from the district of Thirunelveli and formation of a new district of Thenkasi.
In a similar trend, information is also gathered that chengalpet may be separated from Kanchipuram and will be declared as a new district of chengalpet.
The areas of Sivagiri, Ambasamudram, Kadaiyanallur, and Sengottai will come under the new Thenkasi district.
During the previous Legislative Assembly Session the formation of the District of Villupuram was announced as the 33rd districts of the state of Tamil Nadu.
Now, in order for better administration, the formation of Thenkasi as the 34th district and chengalpet as the 35th district are to be announced as per information gathered.
