Special fare trains are proposed to be operated from Chennai to Thirunelveli and Ernakulum.
Chennai Egmore-Thirunelveli
A special fare train will start from Chennai Egmore Railway Station on the dates 2nd and 23rd August, and 20th and 27th September at 6.50 PM and will reach Thirunelveli by the next day morning 6.00AM.
Thirunelveli-Egmore
The special fare train will start from Thirunelveli on dates 4th August, and 22nd and 29th September at 3.00 PM and reach Chennai early morning next day at 3.15 AM.
Suvidha special train
Suvidha Special Train (82601) will start from Chennai Egmore Railway Station at 6.50 PM on 9th August and reach Thirunelveli by next day morning at 6.00 AM.
The train (82602) will start from Thirunelveli at 3.00 PM and reach Chennai Egmore railway Station by early morning at 3.15 AM the next day.
Chennai Central-Ernakulum
The special fare train (06037) will start from the Chennai MGR Central Railway Station at 8.10 PM on dates 2nd and 23rd August and 13th, 20th, and 27th September and reach Ernakulum the next day morning by 8.45 AM.
The special fare train (06038) will start from Ernakulum at 7.00 PM on dates 4th and 25th August and 22nd and 29th September and reach Chennai MGR Central Railway Station by 7.20 AM the next day morning.
The reservations for the above special fare trains are scheduled to commence at 8.00 AM on 17th July (today, Wednesday).
