A low-pressure zone forms over the Bay of Bengal! Likely to intensify!

There are prospects of a low-pressure zone forming over the Bay of Bengal on 30th June. It is very likely to intensify further.
The officials of the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared in this regard :
‘A cyclonic format has developed and prevailed over the regions between the central-west Bay of Bengal and North Andhra. When the winds drift towards this cyclonic format, it has been raining in areas of North Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, there are prospects of a new low-pressure zone to be formed over the North Bay of Bengal region. It is likely to intensify further. When the winds blow towards this depression zone via Tamil Nadu, there are prospects that this may lead to rain in Tamil Nadu.
Due to the convective rain phenomenon, there are prospects of medium rain in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.`
