Re-shuffling of IPS officers done now in TN

On Wednesday, 26th June 2019, the government of TN made many heads turn by effecting major reshuffling of the IPS officers. This reshuffling has been effected just a week ahead of a new police chief assuming charge in the state of Tamil Nadu.
It must be noted that the joint commissioner of police, Chennai (North), Mr. Prem Anand Sinha has been promoted as the additional commissioner of police, Chennai (South). In the upgraded post, Mr. G. Easwaramoorthy who has been the internal security IG is now posted as the additional commissioner, central crime branch, Chennai police.
Point is the present joint commissioner JC, traffic (South) Mr. R. Sudhakar is now posted as JC, law and order. Previously M.V. Jaya Gowri was the JC, law and order and she has been shifted and posted as JC, traffic (North). Last week, director general of police or DGP, Mr. Karan Sinha took over as the head of the SCRB or State Crime Records Bureau and he has been posted as DGP (Training) now. Mr. Karan Sinha would be replacing Mr. R.C. Kudawala who would be retiring on 30th June 2019.
Information collected is IG, modernisation, Mr. Vinit Dev Wankhede has been promoted now and posted as ADGP or additional director general of police, SCRB. The new ADGP (Operations) would be Mr. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal who till now was holding the post of IGP/additional commissioner of police
It is revealed that Mr. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal would be replacing Mr. Ashish Bhangra who would be retiring in this June month end. In the newly created post, IG (Admin), Mr. G. Venkatraman, on promotion has been posted as ADGP of cyber crime wing.
Mr. K. Shankar who has been the commissioner of police, Salem city, has been replaced by Mr. T. Senthilkumar, DIG Salem range and Mr. Senthilkumar is now promoted as IG. It should be noted that Mr. Shankar is now posted as IG CB-CID, Chennai. He would be replacing Mr. Sridhar who has been posted as IG, modernisation.
It is known that DIG, Tirunelveli range is Mr. Kapil Kumar C. Saratkar and now he has been posted as JC law and order, Chennai (North). The new JC traffic (South) is Mr. K. Ejilearassane and he was previously the DIG (Admin).
Information collected is V. Vanitha who has been the DIG Vellore is now posted as IG railways and Mr. Najmul Hoda who has been till now the JC traffic (North) is now promoted as IG/chief vigilance officer, TN Newsprint and Papers Ltd, Pugalur. Point to be noted is the new IG (Admin) is Mr. T.S. Anbhu who till now has been the DIG/JC, CCB, Chennai.
It is worthy to note that DIG, Mr. Mahendra Kumar Rathod is promoted as IG in the TN police academy, Oonamchery.
