Primary Schools must reopen on 3rd June: Tamil Nadu State Department of Education

The Department of the Primary Education of the state government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that all the government primary schools must reopen on 3rd June.

The summer vacation for the schools concludes on 2nd June. Subsequently, the State Department of Education has ordered that the schools be reopened on 3rd June.

In this scenario, the Director of the Primary education Karuppasamy has ordered that all the primary and middle-level schools functioning under the state government must reopen on 3rd June. It is mentioned:

On the conclusion of the summer vacation, all schools must reopen on on 3rd June.  The school complexes must be maintained clean and safe.

The principals, headmasters and the teachers of all government and government-aided primary and middle-level schools must visit the schools earlier to ensure the school complexes are clean and safe. They also must ensure the basic facilities of clean toilets and drinking water.

The students must be issued all the books and notebooks, and uniforms on the date of reopening itself. Necessary immediate action has to be taken for issue of the bus-passes for the students who need them.

Especially the above authorities must check and ensure there are no electric leakages, open wells and dilapidated buildings and rectify the same immediately.
