Significance of mothers day 2019 in India

Mother’s Day is the day of treating all the mothers in our families for their unique motherhood and exclusive maternal bonding which is incomparable with anything in life. Across the world, mother’s day is celebrated on different dates, but mostly in the month of March or May. There are many other similar celebrations in families such as father’s day, siblings day, grandparents day, etc.
Dating back to the early 20th century, it was in the United States that the practice of celebrating mother’s day began by Anna Javris’s initiative. There is no direct relationship between this celebration and motherhood in any kind, but still celebrations take place across the world.
In India, mother’s day is celebrated on the 12th May 2019. It is important to note that it is not declared as national holiday, but there will be widespread celebrations across the country.
This day is obviously going to have a lot of selfies and pictures captured with mothers, and the product-based companies will come up with their unique mother’s day discounts and offers all of which are other reasons to celebrate the special day.
