TN students have performed very well in ISE and ICSE examinations

On Tuesday, 7th May 2019, the results of Indian School Certificate or ISC exams for class 12 and Indian Certificate for Secondary Education or ICSE for class 10 were announced. This has now grabbed the attention of many. The important information collected is TN recorded a pass percentage of 99.57 % in the ISC exams and 99.79% in the ICSE exams. It must be noted that students belonging to as many as 83 ICSE schools took up class 10 examinations and students belonging to as many as 49 ISC schools took up class 12 examinations in the state of TN.

The superb piece of news is students from Chennai city topped TN in both ISC and in the ICSE examinations. In the class 12 ISC examinations, Chennai students N. Shivakumar and R. Akshatha scored 99 %. The Chennai based Sishya school student Akshatha made many heads turn by scoring full marks in subjects like computer science, physics and mathematics. She got 494 marks out of total 500 marks. Akshatha expressed her feelings about getting high marks and said she was very happy. She revealed that she studied for 7 hours every day and made a schedule and stuck to that schedule. For some relaxation, she listened to the music or read books. Akshatha finally hinted that she wanted to take up computer science. Another student named Megha Dinesh belonging to Sishya School had scored 98.75 percent

The important point to be noted is 3 students Priyanka of Ida Scudder School in Vellore, Sweta ChakravarthI from Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyashram in Chennai and Shibi from St Jude’s Public School of Kotagiri have got 98.5% now. It is worth mentioning here that as many as 1646 candidates from TN wrote ISC examination. Ansh. S. Nanavati of Sishya School scored very high marks in the class 10 ICSE examinations. It must be taken into account that she scored 493 marks and topped the state of TN. For the ICSE examinations, as many as 3831 students appeared from TN. It is now revealed that the girls have outshone the boys by securing a higher pass percentage of 99.94.
