TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) in June

The concerned officials of the department have announced that it has been decided to conduct TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) in June. A pass in TET is mandatory for appointment in the posts of teachers.
TET consists of 2 question papers. Each paper has 150 marks. The candidates who pass in the 1st paper will be qualified as teach to conduct classes the primary classes and the candidates who pass the 2nd the question paper will qualify as teachers for the middle-level classes.
In this situation, the registration for application forms for TET commenced on 15th March and concluded on 12th April. State wide, 590000 candidates had applied. Presently, the scrutiny of these applications is in progress.
The officials informed that it has been decided to conduct TET during June and the details regarding date, the vacancy of posts, and the syllabus would be released in April.
