Official release of uploaded 10th Standard and +2 textbooks as per new syllabus

The textbooks for the important classes of the 10th Standard and +2 for various subjects as per the revised syllabus has been officially uploaded on the website.

The revised syllabus has been brought in after a gap of 10 years. In the 1st Phase, the revised syllabus is being implemented for 1st, 6th, 9th and 11th Standards in the current academic year.

For the balance classes, the revised syllabus is set to be introduced in the coming academic year. The publishing of the revised books is nearing completion.

In this scenario, the recent release of the 10th Standard and +2 classes textbook on WhatsApp created a sensation!

Subsequently, the State Educational Research and Training Centre has presently uploaded     the revised syllabus textbooks on the website – www.nscert.org

In this, the textbooks for all the subjects are available. The textbooks for the other classes are being uploaded gradually. The officials of the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Education shared in this regard:

‘All the special features introduced in the recently released textbooks  for the 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards will be available for the other classes as well. In order to facilitate an earlier understanding of the teachers and students, these textbooks have been uploaded on the internet.

As the class system of 9th Standard has been converted into a 3-term format, the textbooks for each subject have been compiled as single complete books.

Apart from this, complaints were received that that revised syllabus introduced for the +1 class was more extensive and difficult. Considering this, some additional lessons in the Arts and Industry sections have been reduced.

To facilitate the distribution of free textbooks for the students studying in government and government-aided schools, the publishing activities for making 2,3 Crores textbooks are completed. Presently, the activities of dispatching these textbooks to the district primary education offices. The textbooks will then be store and then sent to various schools. As soon as the schools reopen after the summer vacation, the new free textbooks will be distributed in June.’
