K.P. Munusamy (born 7 June 1952) is an Indian politician and incumbent member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Krishnagiri Constituency. Munusamy completed his Bachelor of Arts from Govt. 

Arts College, Krishnagiri during 1971-1974 and later graduated Bachelor of Law from Government Law College, Chennai. Since 2011, he has been Minister for Municipal Administration and Rural Development in the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Munusamy also serves as district Secretary, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and secretary of Krishnagiri district Anna employees union.  Senior party leader KP Munusamy, who was part of the AIADMK`s core committee to engage in seat-sharing talks, is the party’s candidate from here.

The Parliamentary Constituency of  Krishnagiri is one of the 39 Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. 15,26,348  is the total electorate count in the Krishnagiri Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 12), Out of these 7,72,614 number of electorates are males and the remaining 7,53,498 are belong to the female category and 236 are belong to Third Gender as the Election commission of India 2019 reports suggest.
