State Department of School Education - a special concession for teachers resuming work

The Department of School Education of the state government of Tamil Nadu has announced special concession for the teachers giving up the ongoing strike and resuming work- they may get transfers to their preferred locations.
The strike by JACTTO-GEO (Joint Action Council of Tamil Nadu Teachers` Organisations and Government Employees` Organisations)insisting on various demands continues for the 7th day today.
Several requests and warnings are continuously being issued on behalf of the state government for the striking state government employees and teacher to resume work. However, JACTTO-GEO has responded by stating the strike will continue despite whatever actions taken by the government.
In this situation, the state government Department of School Education has come with the concessional offer that those teachers who give up the strike and resume work will be given transfers to their preferred locations. However, it is still to be seen whether this will bring the desired outcome!
