Bullock cart runs over 5 year old

A stop to have some coconut water with his grandfather proved fatal to 5-year old Yojith. The boy was sitting on his grandfather’s bicycle when an MTC bus overtook a bullock cart. Althought the bus missed the cart, it hit the bull. The scared animal ran amok and hit the bicycle. Yojith fell over and was run over by the cart.
The tragic incident happened on Tiruvottiyur High Road in Tondiarpet. The police have arrested the MTC bus driver and the bullock cart driver.
