The state government of Tamil Nadu has stressed the people must avail the new facility to get back the original certificates/documents on the date of registration itself from the authorized person.
The state government of Tamil Nadu has informed that after the implementation of the online property registration online, over 22 Lakhs of property registrations have been carried out until 27th December.
Further, it has informed the facility to return all the original documents on the same day of registration after scanning has been implemented from 17th December. With this facility, the state government has informed that around 60% of the registration documents have been returned to the rightful owner on the day of registration itself.
It has also been stressed that in order to receive the documents back, the applicant needs to register the fingerprint. In case any difficulties are encountered in this process, the toll-free number 1800 102 5174 can be contacted to make a complaint.
