List of new Jio services likely in 2019

Since the very beginning of Jio into the telecom sector, Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan has been the caption that Reliance Jio has been keeping up to. It offers cheap data packs and free voice call features starting from its inception back in 2016. The years 2016 and 2017 were completely years of new mobile data packs and recharge packs, it is not just that in 2018, as Jio has promised to introduce a lot more in addition to telecom services. There is going to be landline, broadband, home automation and many more services offered by Jio, as understood by Jios announcement at their Annual General Meeting held in 2018.
In selective regions in India, the Jio GigaFiber and Jio VoWiFi are already in use. Commercial availability of these services has not started though. In the following year 2019, the commercial services is expected.
So, here we present to you a list of Jio services that are likely to turn commercial in 2019:
Jio GigaFiber
By March 2019, Jio will probably roll out GigaFiber. This is a fiber based home broadband service that eyes on connecting 50 million homes in India. This includes 2 services which are Jio GigaFiber router and Jio Giga TV set-top-box. As of now, the preview offer is being carried out where it provides 1100 GB of internet per month at a speed of 100Mbps with validity of 3 months. The plan rates are so far not announced, but there are speculations that it will be priced at rate as low as Rs 500.
Jio Big Screen Smartphone
In addition to focusing on feature phone market with JioPhone, Jio is also eyeing to step into smartphones that contain large displays. This may get launched in 2019. For this, Jio is in talks with multiple companies so as to develop big smartphones in the brand name Jio.
Jio Giga TV
As the commercial operations of Jio GigaFiber comes to existence, it shall be offered along with Jio GigaTV set top box. Live TV channels shall be offered on GigaTV using GigaFiber. Here, all HD voice and video calls can be made between TVs or TV to smartphones.
Jio WiFi
With the Voice over WiFi feature, users will be able to make phone calls through wireless network through WiFi. This shall come handy in areas where there is no proper cellular connectivity. Back in July 2018, testing for this service was done. This service is likely in January 2019. This service shall also allow Jio messaging and call app to compete with that of WhatsApp application.
Jio Phone 2 successor
The JioPhone may get a successor this year. So far, the specifications of the phone are not known, but a few upgrades are probably expected as compared to the first version. The JioPhone originally comes with QWERTY keyboard and provides horizontal viewing access.
