Cyclone Gaja: Prospects of 20 cm rainfall in 6 districts

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the cyclone Gaja is set to cross the coast near Nagapattinam between 8.00 PM and 11.00 PM tonight (Thursday, 15th November).
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that while the cyclone Gaja crosses the coast, there are prospects of rainfall up to 20cm in the districts of Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudhukkottai, and Ramanathapuram.
As there are prospects over 20 cm rainfall in the 6 districts, the district administrations and the public have been instructed to be prepared accordingly.
