The buses leaving for Velankanni, Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Thiruvananthapuram, Villupuram, Salem, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, and Bengaluru will start from the MGR Koyambedu Bus Terminus.

All the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation buses proceeding to Andhra State will start from the Madhavaram workshop Bus Terminus.

Omnibuses will not be allowed to operate vis Madhuravoyal Bypass Road and 100ft Road, towards Vadapalni.

Due to the expected heavy traffic congestion during this Deepavali festive season, all the heavy-duty vehicles reaching Chennai from Chingleput and Kanchipuram routes will not be allowed from 2.00 PM to 12.00 midnight on this route for 4 days on 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th November.

It is a general trend that there would be heavy traffic in the section Tambaram-Perungalathur. The private buses proceeding to the southern districts should take the route via ECR or OMR, Tirukalukundram, Tirupporur, and Chengalpattu reach the National Highway.
