A new medical insurance coverage for the pensioners

The Chennai Corporation has informed that the pensioners have to submit the application for the new medical insurance coverage before 28th September.
A new medical insurance coverage scheme – 2017 for the retired employees who are availing monthly pension and the family pension is set to be implemented shortly. The application for this has to be filled up and submitted from 28th to 30th September at the Chennai Corporation Golden Jubilee Building.
The pensioners who are drawing pensions through Punjab National Bank, Andhra Bank, Tamil Nadu State Cooperative Bank, and Union Bank of India, have to submit the applications on 29th and 30th September.
The pensioners who retired after 31st December 2000 and drawing the pension from the Indian Bank need to submit their applications on 31st August, 3rd and 4th September.
The employees who retired from services during the period from 1st January 2000 to 31st December 2010 need to submit their applications on 5th and 6th September. The pensioners who retired during the period after 1st January 2011 need to submit their applications on 10th and 11th September.
The pensioners who retired before 31st December drawing their monthly pension from Indian Overseas Bank need to submit their applications on 12th, 14th, and 17th September.
The pensioners and the family pension drawers who retired during the period from 1st January 2000 to 31st December 2010 can submit from 18th to 20th September.
The pensioners who retired after 1st January 2011 need to submit their filled applications from 24th September to 28th September.
All the pension and the family pension drawers need to submit their original pension books and Aadhar cards. Further, the family pensioners need to submit 2 copies of their photos and the pensioners need to submit the photos of the husband and wife.
The family pensioners need to submit 2 copies of their age proof and the pensioners need to submit the proofs of the ages of the husband and wife.
Those who are aged and could not come personally can fill up and submit the applications online. The website - www.chennaicorporation.gov.in. Otherwise, they can approach another person and get the applications filled, attach all the requisite documents and submit before 25th September.
