Extension of time till 16th August to join IGNOU courses

It has been announced that that the admissions of the students will be done till 16th August for the courses offered by IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).
IGNOU offers long-distance educational courses in graduate and post-graduate courses. The students can get admission by visiting the regional offices as well as the education centres.
Applications can be made online as well. The website - https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/admission/.
The last date for admission to the current academic year courses had earlier been announced as 31st July. In this situation, the director of the IGNOU Southern Region, Kishore, has informed that the time extension has been given to apply till 16th August.
