VLCC’s Face of Chennai 2013 crowned

Ms. Deepika Anbazhagan is VLCC’s Face of Chennai for 2013. The IT professional was crowned on Tuesday evening from the final round that consisted of 12 hopefuls.
Judges were actors Adithya Menon and Anuja Iyer, Model Coordinator Tara Umesh and Fashion Designer Vivek Karunakaran. The contest was open to girls between the ages 16-25.
Ms. Anbazhagan’s winning answer was, ‘Chennai is a safe city and that makes me happy. It’s a place where women like me can feel secure even while working on jobs late at night. I don’t think that I would change anything at all’ when asked, ‘What would you do to change the face of Chennai, if you had the chance?’
