The Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation has announced that the Cable TV subscribers who are vacating their current residence must arrange to hand over the set-top-box to the concerned operator before vacating.
The Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation has been providing the cable TV services to the subscribers in their residences.
Meanwhile, complaints have been received that some subscribers, while vacating their present residences, take the given set-top-box also along with them while shifting to the new residence.
The main point is to be noted that the set-top-boxes given for one location cannot be activated in a different location. So, in case any resident is vacating from their current residences, they must hand over the set-top-box to the concerned area operator before moving out. When they shift to the new place, they can contact the local cable TV operator in the new place, fill up the application and get a new set-top-box.
