The nature of food we consume is indicated by these skin issues

Most of us are not aware about how the food we consume could affect us. The food we consume is very important as it would affect not only our inner health but also our outer being. It is worthy to note that consuming junk food is not good for us as it could lead to many issues like weight increase, cardiovascular diseases etc in us. The junk food intake could also lead to puffy eyes or acne etc. By making changes in our food we could avoid these issues.

These below mentioned skin issues in us could reveal the nature of food we consume. They are

Presence of acne in us:

Acne is an issue that affects many youngsters. The presence of acne in the face could lower the self confidence. It is said that iodine rich foods could cause acne in us. So be careful.

Early signs of ageing in us:

When our skin is deprived of essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamins and minerals then skin ages. This ageing is a natural one and cannot be reversed. This ageing could be slowed down. It must be noted that few nutrients are absorbed by our body when we eat faster. This could make us age faster than usual. So eating slowly with proper chewing is essential.

Presence of dry skin:

Keeping our skin hydrated and radiant is very important for us and for that the diet we consume plays a huge role. Sometimes we might have dry skin or flaky skin and this would be highly irritating for us. This shows we are not drinking enough water or eating hydrating foods like cucumber, watermelons etc.

Presence of puffy face:

This is also one important issue present in many of us. Puffy face could spoil our fresh looks to a great extent. This puffy face indicates that our body lacks good fats. Protection against skin inflammation could be got by essential fatty acids present in seeds or oils. By consuming these fatty acids, the issue of puffy face could be avoided in us.

Stretch marks present:

Low zinc in our foods is indicated by the presence of stretch marks in us. It is known that zinc is highly beneficial as it could repair and heal a tissue easily. So taking food with good amounts of zinc is essential. It is important to note that these stretch marks are formed due to tearing of the middle skin layer or dermis.
