To help the bus commuters, an app would be out soon

Waiting for the bus for long time is very irritating. This would not be a problem anymore. The good news that has emerged out now is the government of Tamil Nadu would soon be launching a unique app and the commuters would be informed regarding the time of arrival of the buses.
The minister for transport, Mr. Mr. M.R. Vijayabhaskar, spoke about the road map for rolling out electric buses in Chennai city. Arrival as well as location of the buses at all the stops would be provided to the customers soon and that would be fantastic for those who travel by buses regularly. The technology would be used for this purpose of providing information about the buses.
The transport minister, Mr. M.R. Vijayabhaskar, later spoke about how GPS would be making its presence felt and how it would be utilized to track the movement of the buses. He also hinted that a geo code for identification would be available at each bus stop and information could be got on the mobile app. He further spoke about the electric buses in the city of Chennai and how the roadmap for this would be evolved soon. It is well known that TN transport department has signed a memorandum of understanding or MoU with C-40 Cities Climate Leadership Group belonging to England so that electric buses could be manufactured.
It is now clear that the C-40 would be playing a huge role by providing its support to TN state government in preparing city roadmap. In addition to this C-40 would also be setting up required infrastructure for the buses. The transport minister Mr. M.R. Vijayabhaskar became cynosure of many eyes when he announced as many as 21 announcements for the transport department plus another 14 announcements under the Motor Vehicles Act- Administration.
He threw light on the new procurement policy for all the state transport undertakings and how it would be unveiled soon. He further spoke about the formation of common trust for all state transport undertakings to administer accident compensation, accident prevention and toll fee cess amount. For those passengers who are travelling on metropolitan transport corporation buses, on board entertainment would be provided.
