Soon sand quarry office would be shifted to the city of Chennai

In the state of Tamil Nadu is present Trichy which is a superb city. The Office of the Director for Sand Quarrying Operations is present in this Trichy and it is making sensational news now.
The news is soon this office would be shifted to the city of Chennai. The reasons cited for this are to establish complete control and command over all sand quarrying activities plus to facilitate inter-departmental coordination with various department heads. An official statement from the chief minster`s special cell to Mr. M. Sekaran, who is the president of Federation of Consumer and Service Organisations, has been sent in this regard.
It is important to note that this communiqué was in reply to Mr. Sekaran’s representation to the government to oversee the functioning of the office of the Project Director, Sand Quarrying Operations presently in Trichy considering their operations were restricted to Trichy and its surroundings.
According to the communiqué from the chief minister’s special cell, due to sensitivity in the sand quarrying process it is important to attend meetings with higher officials in Chennai city frequently. Moreover responding to legal issues on daily basis requires continuous briefing by Advocate General on weekly basis in Chennai. Hence the government decided to shift the sand quarrying office to Chennai.
