Economically backward students may apply for scholarships

A self- enthusiastic help group, called Team Everest has been offering financial assistance to the economically backward students interested in pursuing the college education. Accordingly, it has planned to offer financial assistance or scholarship to the orphaned (without parents) or destitute (without any support) students this year as well.
This would apply only to the students from the government schools. The selected students will be offered a scholarship of Rs. 30000 every year. This amount can be availed for education fees, hostel fees, and conveyance expenses.
The selected candidates must attend the weekend classes conducted by ‘Team Everest’ at least for 100 hours. They must also attend all the ‘in-house’ training sessions.
