Arts and Science colleges to reopen on 18th June

All the Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu are set to reopen on 18th June. There are 91 government Arts and Science colleges, 139 government-aided Arts and Science colleges, and 516 self-financed Arts and Science Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. Further, there are 41 University member colleges as well. Out of this, the admission for the 1st year for the Arts and Science courses is in progress as per the Tamil Nadu State Government reservation quota.
The Director of the College Education, Santhi, has ordered that all the Arts and Science colleges will reopen on 18th June. As the present director of the college education, Manjula, retired during the month of May, the joint director Santhi has been given this additional responsibility. The director has sent a circular to all colleges regarding the announced reopening date.
On the reopening day, the old students must welcome the fresh students with a smiling face and sweet countenance. Orientation classes must be conducted for the fresh student. The college principals are to ensure that unadvisable and illegal activities such as ragging must be totally avoided and other rules and regulations must be strictly followed.
