Chennai district Collector asks Pension beneficiaries to get ATM cards

People availing pension under various schemes are requested to collect their ATM or Rupay cards from the respective banks. The Chennai district collectorate announced the beneficiaries to receive the cards for the easy acquisition of money.
Chennai district Collector, V. Anbuselvan told the state government is incorporating thirteen pension schemes such as senior citizens pension, pension for physically disables and for widows. Beneficiaries from all these schemes have to collect their ATM cards from the banks processing the transactions of each individual pension receiver.
As the coordination committee of state banks following the overall process of pension accounts ATM card and Rupay card distribution, the respective banks are doing the work for availing the facility. Also the reports from the Collector office advised the pensioners who have not applied for the ATM cards to apply immediately.
