2 new subjects for +1 and +2 classes

Two new subjects/lessons related to the computer is being introduced from this year for the +1 and +2 classes.
In the 1st Phase of the revised syllabus for all the classes, new syllabus is being introduced for 1st, 6th, 9th, and 11th Standards. Following this, 2 additional subjects/lessons are to be introduced for the students in +1 and +2 classes who have chosen industrial education group and the students of the Arts group.
These computer-related lessons are being introduced from this year itself.
For the computer science section students, lessons will be taught on the computer science. However, for the students in the arts group such as history, economics, commercial mathematics etc, another computer-related subject called ‘Computer applications’ is being introduced.
Similarly, a new subject, ‘computer technology’ is being introduced for the students of industrial education group.
These new subjects are being introduced this year for the +1 classes and will be added for the +2 classes next year.
