Counselling for PG medical courses stopped

The central government All India Medical Council has announced that the procedures for counseling for admissions to the postgraduate medical courses are stopped forthwith.

The 1st Phase of counseling for the postgraduate medical courses was conducted on 27th March. The 2nd stage of counseling was conducted on 13th April. The results were announced on 14th April.

In this section, the Indian Medical Council team, functioning under the central government, has come up with the sudden announcement that all the procedures connected with this counseling are stopped right away.

The announcement details as released by the Indian Medical Council:

The Chennai High Court has ordered that the counseling procedure for admissions to the postgraduate medical courses, currently being conducted jointly by the central department of health, the central medical services Directorate, and the All India Medical Council, should be stopped right away.

With this order, all the activities including the admission lists released based on the 2nd stage counseling are stopped forthwith.

The candidates, who had been selected and got seats after the 1st Phase of counsellng, can inform in case they are intending to give up their seats.
