Deadline for Aadhar link with bank savings account extended

The deadline given for linking Aadhar card with the bank savings account has been extended indefinitely.
Earlier, the deadline for linking Aadhar card with the bank savings account and the mobile phone was fixed as 31st March. However, the Supreme Court, with the panel headed by Justice Deepak Mishra, has ordered the central government to withdraw the deadline and give extension without any deadline.
In the Supreme Court ordered released on 13th March, the judges informed that the National constitution panel of judges has been enquiring various cases related to the Aadhar card and till the release of the verdict of these pending cases, linking Aadhar card should not be made mandatory.
