Facility to make online corrections in smart family cards restarted

The State Department of Food commenced the facility to carry out corrections online in the smart family card details such as address change, correction of spelling errors, etc., and also those who apply for fresh smart family cards during 2017.
As some people deliberately indulged in furnishing wrong data, this facility was suspended temporarily.
An official explained in this regard that the photographs given by some of the cardholders are not all clear. Hence, all the smart family card holders were advised to upload better and clearer photographs using the online facility.
However, some miscreants used this opportunity to upload the wrong photos such as those of film actors and actresses. Because of this, the facility for online correction was suspended.
As the task of smart family cards is nearing completion, the facility to make corrections online in the smart family cards has been reintroduced.
