The facility to issue 15 additional proofs/certificates for the public request and Amma Mobile App were introduced in all the E-Service Centres and inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palanisamy yesterday (Friday, 2nd March).

E-Service centres throughout the state of Tamil Nadu operated under the Electronic Management Project belonging to Department of Disaster Management. They issue proofs and certificates regarding caste, income, residence, being the 1st graduate in the family, destitute woman deserted by the husband, etc.

Now, the facility to issue additional certificates/documents is about to be introduced. These include the issue of acknowledgment slip, agricultural income, small/micro-farming/agriculture, mixed marriages of different castes, widows, jobless situation, family shifting, loss of academic certificates due to natural disasters, and the status of being unmarried.

Further, arrangements are being made to issue proofs/certificates pertaining to heirdom (’Vaarisu’ in Tamil), residence proof, financial conditions, mortgage trade licence, the licence to lend money with interest, and the certificates of belonging to OBC (Other Backward Castes).

When the public visits the E-centres to request for any of the proofs/certificates and apply, an acknowledgment slip will be issued. This detail will also be sent as SMS to the concerned person’s mobile phone. Once the request is accepted and the document is prepared and ready for issue, the applicant can download the relevant document on the net from his/her residence. It can also be obtained at the E-service centres as well.

The Chief Minister E. Palanisamy also inaugurated the introduction of Amma Mobile App which will facilitate and simplify the process of getting the above-mentioned proofs/certificates through the mobile phone.

Amma Mobile App can be downloaded free on any android mobile phone.

Through this Amma Mobile App, details regarding property-related documents such as A-Register, the status of the application on request to change in Chitta-Patta, whether the referred land is owned by the government or the private party can also be ascertained.
