TASMAC Mobile App introduced

TASMAC has now introduced an App for the buyers of alcoholic beverages to pay, TASMAC, functioning under the state government of Tamil Nadu, has noted that most of the TASMAC shops are located in unhygienic areas and also, there are a lot of waiting crowds all the time. So, the persons preferring privacy find it difficult to enter these shops and buy.
Hence, TASMAC started some outlets in commercial complexes. However, they are located in remote corners and also since there is no stock of the item preferred, the buyers are subjected to hardships. Hence, TASMAC has started the mobile App service to facilitate ordering the preferred items from wherever the customer is located.
A TASMAC official explained that in the 1st Phase, the buyer can pay through the App. Also, the details of the available stock, their prices, and the shops with this App facility can all be read from this App.
This App facility has been introduced in 6 modern TASMAC shops in the Chennai Metro City. This App facility will be extended shortly to all TASMAC shops.
There is the plan when the star hotels and Club customers can order through this App, the items ordered will be delivered. In case high-priced drinks ordered, there will be a facility to deliver the same to the customer’s location.
The procedure to use the App
- Download the App from Google Play Store.
- Register the mobile number, e-mail, and address. Enter the name, gender, date of birth, Skip the next page.
- Enter the preferred secret code number. Confirm the same.
- Enter the Aadhar card number and other details asked. If not interested, this can be skipped.
- In the section ‘Add money’, load the preferred items ordered. In the ‘Quick Pay’ section, payment for the ordered drinks can be made. Once this is completed, QR code will be received. Once it is shown to the TASMAC staff, the details will be registered in their mobile phones, scan, and the supply the items ordered.
- In case there is any problem, a complaint can be made to the TASMAC telephone number given in the ‘Quick Pay’ page.
