Eligibility and conditions to apply for Amma 2-wheeler scheme

Who are eligible among the working women to apply and avail the subsidy under the Amma 2-wheeler scheme?
Women who are employed in founded-companies and those who work in non-systematic industry sector, women who run their own shops or those who work in other concerns, women who are employed in private and public sector units, women who work in social institutions, cooperative societies in Panchayats, or the women who work in rural poverty prevention associations. women’s bank guides and approved Social Health Enthusiasts are eligible to apply.
Women from Tamil Nadu who are in the age group 18-40 who have the driving licence can apply.
Women whose annual income does not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs can apply.
Priority in this scheme is given to destitute women and young widows, differently-abled women, and the women from the backward and Ancient Tribes.
Documents required
Certificate proof for date of birth, driving licence for the 2-wheeler, voter ID, copy of Aadhar card, academic certificates for 8th standard and above, passport-size photograph, the proof certificate for those who want to qualify in the special cadre, caste certificate, and 2-wheeler purchase contract document.
Application form, filling and submission
Applications can be obtained from the Panchayats, offices of the city corporations/administration, and the regional offices of the corporation. They have to be filled and submitted back.
