- Rains have stopped over Chennai presently. It may once again start during late evening and night hours.
- Chennai has witnessed 6 mm of rain in the past 4.5 hours. Light rains and drizzle are occurring over Chennai.
- Traffic flow slow on Thousands light towards Annaflyover Near Thousands light due to MTC Bus breakdown.
- Traffic flow slow on Nelson manickam road
- North Chennai and interior regions to North Chennai will also receive hefty showers. While south AP will be battered as usual! Sriharikota, Naidupet regions to get heavy showers
