Rain update for Chennai, Tiruvallur & Kanchi districts (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

Good spell of on and off rains to occur in the day. Rains will reduce from tomorrow. Today will be the last spell of rains from this low which is moving up north away from us.
Chennai to see on and off rains till night with occasional increase in intensity here in and there
Radar shows massive clouds close to Chennai coast. Typically what it showed yesterday night. But the scenario is different. Please see the image attached, you may get some idea what i am trying to explain. The one west of us will move down but when the low moves up, the next spin will result in northern bands will fall over Chennai. At the same time it will drag the temp vortex away from us, as the main low makes a spin.
Enjoy another awesome monsoon rainy day. It was coolest day of the year with just 25 C. Would you believe 25 C in the day.
Pull effect rains from outer bands
Yesterday night Ramanathapuram got pull effect rains from the pull effect rains from the system.
Today the pull effect will be little up as the low has moved up. In Sivaganga, Pudukottai, Thiruvarur can get pull effect rains. Some part of Nilgiris, Kovai, Dindigul will get pull effect rains. Not widespread. So dont expect too much from pull effect rains.
