Sabarimala temple corridors to be opened for Onam Festival

The temple corridors of Lord Sri Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple will be opened on the occasion of the Onam festival.
As the most important festivals of the Keralites, Thiru Onam is to be celebrated on Sunday, 3rd September. The temple corridors of Sri Ayyappan temple will be opened on Sunday for the occasion of Onam. Melshanthi T. M. Unnikrishnan Namboodri will open the temple corridors at 5.00 PM on Saturday, 2nd September.
It is further informed that the grand Ashta Draviya Maha Ganapathy Homa Pooja will be performed by Tantri Kandaru Maheshwararu Mohanaru on Sunday (3rd September) morning.
On the special occasion of Onam on this Sunday, other special pooja and prayers are also scheduled to be performed including Kalaba Abhishekham and Padi Pooja. Ucha Pooja will also be performed on this day.
Onasadya Virundhu (Onam festival feast) will be organised on the next day (Monday, 4th September) at the Sri Sabarimala Sannidhanam.
