35 IPS officers transferred throughout Tamil Nadu

The state government of Tamil Nadu has announced some promotions and some transfer orders for 35 IPS officers in the state.
Inspector Generals (IGs) Karunasagar, Rajiv Kumar, Sandhip Roy Rathod, Abhay Kumar Singh, and Vanniya Perumal are promoted as ADGs.
Thanizhchandran, DIG at Vellore Range, has been promoted as IG and posted as IG of Statue Smuggling Prevention Section.
Pon Manickavel, who was the IG of the Statue Smuggling Prevention Section, is posted as the Railway IG in Chennai.
Sanjay Mathur, who was the Tirupur City Police Commissioner, is posted as IG of CBCID. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, who was in this post, has been posted as Madurai City Police Commissioner.
Murugan, who was the South Region IG, has been posted as the Additional Director of the Department of prevention of corruption.
Periyappa, who was the IG of Ooragappadai, is posted as the Additional Commissioner of the Chennai Metro City Transportation.
Balakrishnan, who was the Deputy Commissioner of the Mylapore Police, has been appointed as DIG of Villupuram Range.
Sudhakar, who was the Deputy Commissioner in Ambattur, is promoted as DIG and posted as the Additional Commissioner of Chennai Metro City North.
DIG Thenmozhi, who was under compulsory waiting, has been appointed as DIG of Kanchipuram Range.
Bhavaneeswari, who was the Additional Commissioner of the Chennai Metro City South, is posted as DIG of Trichy range.
