Hotter weather to prevail for the next 2 days

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that that weather would remain hotter up to a temperature in the range of 106 Degrees Fahrenheit for the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Right from the commencement of Agni Nakshatram or the peak part of the summer, it has been a scorching summer. There are still 7 more days of Agni Nakshatram or Kathiri Veyil, with no respite from the oppressive heat. However, there have been summer rains in a few places as well.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre informed that there are prospects of rain with thunder in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
At the same time, the intensity of heat will remain more in the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The temperature may touch a peak up to 106 Degrees Fahrenheit.
