Petrol bunks to remain closed on Sundays from 14th May

The Tamil Nadu Petroleum Dealers Association has decided to offer holidays on all Sundays for the petrol bunks from 14th May.
It has thus been announced that the petrol bunks operating under the Tamil Nadu Petroleum Dealers’ Association will remain closed on all Sundays from 14th May.
The President of the association had a session with the press reporters at Chepauk, Chennai explained that after 14th May, the petrol bunks will remain closed from 12.00 midnight at the end of Saturday and 12.00 midnight at the start of Monday.
Thus, 4850 bunks under the control of the Tamil Nadu Petroleum Dealers’ Association in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will remain closed on all Sundays from 14th May.
The association has explained that this decision has been taken with a view to the conservation of fuel.
