Prospects of rain in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu

Presently, it has been a scorching summer being experienced throughout Tamil Nadu in most districts.
However, thanks to the formation of a thermal convection, the Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that there are prospects of rains in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Department explained that there are prospects of rain in the interior districts of the state due to thermal convection. However, dry weather will persist in coastal areas. Chennai Metro will remain partly cloudy.
