Deadline extended till 7th April to apply for writing Departmental Examinations

The departmental examinations are conducted twice a year (May and December) by the state government for the promotion of the state government employees and officers working in various departments and also the teachers working in the government schools.
TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) is conducting these departmental examinations.
The first of the yearly twice departmental examinations for the year 2017 is scheduled to be conducted by TNPSC from 24th May to 31st May.
Earlier, the last date for applying to write the above departmental examinations had been announced as 31st March. Now, the last date has been extended until 7th April for applying online (www.tnpsc.gov.in).
The candidates can download their hall tickets for writing the departmental examinations by entering the application number and the date of birth online.
The Examination regulation Officer Shobana informed that the results of these departmental examinations will be released in the TNPSC press release dated 7th August and 16th August.
