Call for PG admission for Medical and Dental seats soon

Those who are waiting for PG admission, your time is soon to come. The Tamil Nadu directorate of medical education is gearing up for announcing call for applications from over 2000 post graduate applicants for medicine and dental studies. Counselling to fill government seats and management quota in private colleges and deemed universities will take place in April.
The legalities and procedure to conduct the counselling are being discussed by the state health department officials. Once this takes place, it will be an indication of acceptance of the common entrance examination for medical and dental admissions.
The Supreme Court had mandated NEET exam for admitting students for medical and dental seats. Admission for PG should at least start in the first week of April and get over by May end. We have still not called for applications. Though we can wait for MBBS admissions, we need to start with PG admissions now, said a senior official.
