The government had earlier announced that the teacher’s eligibility test will be held during the month of March. In view of this the examination centres were finalized. Now it is understood that the centres were Plus 2 and SSLC public examinations are to be held was also chosen for TET.

An official of the education department said: Plus 2 and 10th public examinations will be held during the month of March. At that time, the date of TET and centres was announced. It is not possible to postpone TET till the public examinations are over. Hence it was ordered to set up TET examination centres at middle and primary schools. In order to conduct the TET, basic infrastructure such as table, chair, drinking water, light, fan and toilet are required. Now this is being reviewed in all the schools of all the districts. In a day or two the centres will be finalized.  Similarly, the date of conducting TET is also likely to be changed. We are expecting that the examination might be held on 6th March. Since there is going to be a new government, the exam dates are likely to be changed.
