Rains in Tamil Nadu for the next few days

There will be rains in one or two places in the coastal southern Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours due to northeast monsoon.
An official of the Meteorological Centre has mentioned: The trough which developed near Maldives Islands have weakened. Moreover a trough of low is persisting over South Andaman Sea. At the same time there are chances of another trough being formed in the next 48 hours in the same place. Due to this there will be rains in Tamil Nadu for the next few days. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy.
