Separate enclosure for lactating mothers at Chennai Central

An exclusive women facilitation centre has been set up in the Chennai central Station. There is a separate enclosure for the benefit of the lactating mothers. Female passengers are greatly appreciating this.
This centre, which has come up beside the bookstall on the new concourse of Chennai Central, is completely air-conditioned and manned by women staff from the commercial department and the Railway Protection Force (RPF).
The centre will offer guidance in accessing medical help, retiring room and restroom facility; facilitate in registering complaints relating to Railways and railway police; assist in getting wheelchairs and luggage porters; and also help with other enquiries.
