Air India Express adds one additional flight from Abu Dhabi to Chennai via Tiruchirapalli

Abu Dhabi Airports Company and Air India Express announced on Monday the addition of a new flight for the airline from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Chennai via Tiruchirapalli starting from 27th of this month.
Air India Express will operate an additional flight every Monday originating from Chennai via Tiruchirapalli to Abu Dhabi thereby bring the total flights on this route to 3 per week. Effective Winter Schedule, Air India Express will operate 32 weekly flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport servicing 7 destinations in India.
Due to the increased demand for flights to and from the Indian subcontinent, Air India Express is constantly adding to its flight frequencies expanding its service offerings to passengers from Abu Dhabi international Airport. Earlier in 2011, Air India Express also increased its flight frequencies on two of its routes from Abu Dhabi; Managalore and Amritsar to service the witnessed high demand.
