8th Edition of Terry Fox Run - 15,000 participated for Cancer Research

The 8th Edition of Annual Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research saw over 15,000 people participate. The run was flagged off at IIT Madras campus on Sunday-21st, by Lt. Gen. Jagbir Singh, GOC, Southern Command. The program was organised by Rotary Club of Madras East to raise funds specially for Cancer Research in association with IIT Madras. People from all age groups actively participated in the event.
Rtn. Ananth, President, Rotary Club of Madras East and other Rotarians from the city were present during the run. He said, Year on Year, the Terry Fox Run has become an integral part of the City, which also adds to the fervour of the Madras Month.
