Chennai will get rains in the evening or nights

Chennai Metrological Centre official has mentioned: In the next 24 hours, there will be rains or thundershowers in few places of Tamil Nadu due to convection. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky will be cloudy during the day. There will be rains in some places of the city during the evening or night. Strong winds from Westerly direction are likely to be there during the day.
Low depression has been formed in the coastal area of Odisha. Because of this No 1 signal warning has been hoisted in the ports of Tamil Nadu. Though there is no connection between the depression and Tamil Nadu, the signal has been hoisted to warn the fishermen and ships not to venture near Odisha coast.
