Karthi Sivakumar Inagurates ‘BatchaBai’ Meat Super Store Opens in Kilpauk

The wait for modern, hygienic and speciality neighbourhood meat store is over. The ‘BatchaBai’ Meat Store at 100, Medavakkam Tank Road, Kilpauk was formally inaugurated on Sunday, 31st August 2011. The inauguration was by cine star Karthi Sivakumar and presided over by Dr.R.Prabakaran Ph.D., Vice-Chancellor, Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Science University. The website batchabai.com with facility for online orders was launched at the same time. The grand opening was attended by Chefs from leading hotels, restauranteers, meat enthusiasts of Chennai and invitees.
The Meat Store compares to those meat stores you come across while travelling abroad. It was the lack of such a place to shop for their daily requirement of fresh meat in Chennai after living and experiencing the services of similar outlets abroad that prompted the owners to think of this venture.
